When was the last time you took time for yourself. Actually sat down your phone, stepping away from the connection of technology? (I'd appreciate it if you did so after you finish reading this!)
Focus on your breath. How does it feel to breathe in? The air swirling in your nostrils, hitting the back of your throat, filling your lungs as deep as you can get the air in, belly expanding out. Now hold it for a few seconds. Are you able to feel relaxed or does everything feel tight and panicky? Exhale through your mouth feel the breath escaping through your pursed lips. Can you hear it? What does it feel like?
Actually breathe. Most Americans pant. Your lungs have the potential of processing so much more air than you currently are. Take a deep breath in … fill your belly (actually feel your belly press outward as the air enters your lungs).

Exhale completely 2-3-4-5-6-7
Now, do it again.
We so frequently go through our day without thinking about our breath. We have become robotic and unfeeling. Today is your day to make that change. Take a few minutes and breathe. Allow the air to rush into your body bringing healing, life, and energy to your day.
