New Year - Same You?

Updated: Apr 16, 2019

The calendar has flipped to a new year, do you feel different? Should you feel different? What's the big deal about new year resolutions anyway!?

1. a firm decision to do or not to do something:

The beginning of a new year really is not much different than any other day. There's nothing special about January 1st. This year it was a Tuesday. Great! A Tuesday!

What would happen if we celebrated every Tuesday like it was the beginning of a new year? What if every Tuesday we made a firm decision to do or not to do something?

Now, don't get me wrong, I like the idea of making resolutions, but... how many of us make resolutions, set goals, whatever you call it, and actually stick to it? For the first couple weeks, sure we are all for "creating a new me". What happens when the same you starts creeping back into the picture? It happens. It has happened to me many times! We are creatures of habit. It is suggested that it takes 21 days to create a new habit. What would happen if you scheduled a massage appointment, and kept it every 21 days?

Did you know that adding regular massage therapy and bodywork to your routine can help reinforce some of the decisions you have made to do or not to do something? Try it! It works!
